Last February 12, 2024, approximately 150 dedicated students from UMak gathered at the HPSB of the University of Makati for a remarkable event centered around the theme "Band-Aid Serenity: Empowering Lives to First aid Evolution."
Hon. Mark Anthony Pareja, in his Opening Remarks, warmly welcomed all the participating students, emphasizing the importance of learning but with a gentle reminder, "Marami kayong matututunan pero wag naman po sanang magamit."
The event featured an insightful session led by Mr. Edgardo M. Marte, Jr., along with Mr. Edren Eda of Olympia Fire and Rescue Team, and Mr. Dan Joseph Arlanza, focusing on First Aid and Basic Life Support activities. Their expertise provided invaluable knowledge and skills to the attendees, empowering them to be proactive in emergency situations.
